The Team of the Week, presented by Scoutware, is D3football.com's weekly honor roll, in its 27th season of recognizing the top performance at each position from the previous week. Players are nominated by schools.

Offense

QB Kaleb Blaha, Sr., UW-River Falls

UWRF senior quarterback Kaleb Blaha broke his own program single-game record with 569 yards of total offense during Saturday's 59-47 win vs. Coe, completing 30 of 38 through the air for 335 yards while adding 234 rushing yards. He tallied four rushing touchdowns and two passing touchdowns and did not turn the ball over as UWRF improved to 2-0 on the season.

OL Trevor Gallagher, Nate Argiro, Logan Milito, Hunter Hanna, Jeremy Carter, Lebanon Valley

The Dutchmen's offensive line had an excellent week against FDU-Florham in a 37-13 victory. LVC averaged 7.4 yards per rush with 267 yards on 36 attempts. Dion Bryant did most of the work on the ground as the senior had 151 yards on 15 carries and was tackled before the line of scrimmage just once in the game. The line also did a great job protecting quarterback Logan Klitsch, who threw just 15 times but had two touchdown passes and was sacked just once. LVC ran 51 offensive plays and averaged 6.3 yards per play.

RB Vante' Hodges, Sr., Marietta

Hodges had a career day rushing the ball in Marietta's 47-31 win over Otterbein. He scored on touchdown runs of 65 yards, 66 yards, and 64 yards. Hodges finished with 16 carries for 306 yards, three touchdowns, and averaged 19.1 yards per carry.

RB Alex Trudell, So., Albion

Trudell was instrumental in Albion's two-overtime win over Bluffton. He punched in three touchdowns on the ground and averaged 6.8 yards per carry. He added four receptions for 67 yards and four touchdown to bring his total to four for the afternoon.

WR Steph Carter Jr., Sr., Maryville

Carter had an impressive day against Ohio Wesleyan, grabbing nine catches for 243 yards and a touchdown. His touchdown came on a 75-yard catch as Maryville defeated the Battling Bishops, 48-24.

WR Shane Shapiro, Jr., Guilford

Shapiro helped Guilford to a 42-40 win vs. Methodist by catching 14 passes for 210 yards and two touchdowns. Both TDs came in the second quarter as the Quakers built up a 28-0 lead and held on down the stretch.

TE Joey Gendreau, Sr., St. John's

Gendreau caught eight passes for 124 yards and two touchdowns in the Johnnies' 49-0 win against Minnesota-Morris. It was the first 100-yard receiving game of Gendreau's collegiate career.

Defense

DE Dominick Williams, Sr., East Texas Baptist

Williams had a career-high four sacks, four tackles for loss of 27 yards, two forced fumbles, and two fumble recoveries as ETBU recorded its first shutout at home since 2010, defeating Oklahoma Panhandle State 28-0. He tied his career-high of 10 tackles with six solo tackles. His first sack came in the first quarter at the ETBU 21-yard line on a 1st-and-10 for a loss of six yards. Two plays later, he earned his second sack, on the same series, at the 23-yard line on OPSU's opening drive. The sack resulted in a fumble, which he recovered and ended the scoring threat. His third sack came in the 3rd quarter when OPSU threatened to score on the ETBU 33-yard line as he had is second forced fumble and recovery. His final sack came at the five-minute mark in the third quarter at the OPSU 5-yard line on third and 21.

DT William Wolf, Sr., Coast Guard

Wolf had 12 tackles, five of them solo, and half a sack in a win against Curry.

DE Julius Jenkins, Jr., Cornell

Jenkins recorded a career-high 14 tackles, highlighted by six and a half tackles for loss which were one-half shy of Cornell's single-game school record. He also led the team with one and a half sacks. The Rams held Chicago to 255 total yards in a 28-12 defeat.

LB Matt Conroy, Sr., Shenandoah

Conroy had 17 tackles, nine of them solo, in the Hornets' 29-28 win at Geneva. The linebacker also added half a tackle for loss.

LB Carson Schnurstein, So., Calvin

Schnurstein led Calvin in tackles (14, seven solo) in Saturday's win over Concordia (Wis.) which included a pair of tackles for loss. He was part of a Calvin defense that limited Concordia to just 283 yards of offense overall and just 105 in the second half when the Knights kept Concordia scoreless.

LB Cole Clark, Sr., Central

Clark led the Dutch with 13 tackles during a 10-0 shutout of then-No. 19-ranked Randolph-Macon. It was the first time anyone had shut the Yellow Jackets out in 17 seasons.

LB Charlie Murrin, Jr., Lewis and Clark

Murrin posted two fumble recoveries and added one and a half tackles for loss to help Lewis and Clark earn a 38-10 win over George Fox in the Oregon Cup. He posted five total tackles, two solo, two pass breakups and had two fumble recoveries.

CB Sam Roose, Jr., Wartburg

Roose tallied four tackles (three solo), with a tackle for loss, two interceptions totaling 71 return yards, and a fumble recovery. Roose provided three out of the Knights' four turnovers in a 16-0 win against the Blue Devils, helping hold UW-Stout to its lowest yardage total in more than a decade.

S Timothy VanderBrink, Jr., St. John Fisher

VanderBrink continued his strong start to the year with a career-high 12 tackles (nine solo) in St. John Fisher's 28-23 win over St. Lawrence. He was also credited with half a tackle for loss.

S Carter Foust, Sr., Lebanon Valley

Foust helped lead the Dutchmen to a big 37-13 victory over FDU-Florham with a career-high eight tackles and a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown. Foust recorded six solo tackles with one pass breakup before he stalled a long Devils drive in the fourth quarter with a 90-yard interception return for a touchdown that ended all chances of a comeback attempt and gave the Dutchmen a 30-6 lead with 4:25 left.

CB Robert Kennedy, Jr., Hartwick

Kennedy pulled in three interceptions, including a 15-yard pick six, in a two-point win against Buffalo State. He also added nine total tackles, six solo, including one for loss.

Special teams

K Mylee Hansen, So., Monmouth

Hansen made 2 field goals and became the first female to make a field goal in Monmouth history as the Scots rolled past Lawrence. Her first field goal came on the last play of the first half and she added a 30-yarder in the third quarter. Hansen also made all three extra point attempts, and her 9 points in a game is a Monmouth female record and a Midwest Conference record for points by a female. The NCAA does not track a single game record in this category.

P Chase Lanham, Fr., Southwestern

Lanham had a huge game flipping field position for the Pirates, highlighted by his 74 yard punt which pinned Puget Sound at the 2-yard line. He finished with six punts for an average of 55.3 yards.

RET Connor Meade, So., Pacific Lutheran

Meade took the opening kickoff 90 yards for a touchdown, setting the tone in PLU's 42-16 victory over Simpson.

ST Dayshaun Henry, So., UW-Oshkosh

Dayshawn Henry blocked his second career punt and recovered the ball at the 1-yard line early in the game at defending national champion North Central. UW-Oshkosh scored on the succeeding play for an early lead.
