Wartburg, Hanover and Concordia (Wis.) secured their spots in the 2025 Division III football playoffs with wins today, while Montie Quinn got within 100 yards of the 2,000 mark on Saturday, Nov. 1, 2025 in Division III football.
Eian Roudebush threw for 258 yards and two touchdowns and ran for 116 yards and a score as well as Hanover claimed the HCAC title with its 48-0 win at Bluffton. It's the Panthers' first conference title since 2019. Garron Jenkins had three of Hanover's five sacks, while the Panthers picked the Beavers off three times.
Roman Funk threw three touchdown passes in the first half, two of them to Jason Leonard, as Concordia Wisconsin clinched the automatic bid from the Northern Athletics Collegiate College by shutting out Rockford, 35-0. Funk finished the day 20-for-29 passing for 316 yards and the three scores, while rushing for a touchdown as well as part of a rushing attack that saw nine ballcarriers combine for 116 yards. The playoff bid is CUW's first since 2013, in which the Falcons lost 54-20 at Platteville in the first round.
Wartburg's clincher is covered in the Top 25 recap.
Montie Quinn got within 100 yards of 2,000 for the season as he rolled up 245 yards and ran for three touchdowns to lead Curry to a 40-21 win vs. Husson. Curry scored the last 17 points of the game to pull away and improve to 7-1, 5-0 in the Conference of New England. The Colonels remain in a tie for first place with Endicott, which made it look easy in rolling past Maine Maritime, 69-7. Quinn has 1,928 yards on the season.
Mike Sirianni collected his 200th career victory as Washington & Jefferson defeated Case Western Reserve, 28-17. He is one of six active NCAA football coaches with 200 wins. The rushing game was the difference for the Presidents in their closest Presidents' Athletic Conference game this season. Kobe Derosa led all backs with 107 rushing yards and two touchdowns. Power back Andrew Sharp rushed for 73 yards and reached the end zone once. Kellan Stahl compiled 184 passing yards, going 16-for-23 through the air.
Monmouth grabbed control of the Midwest Conference race as the Scots throttled the University of Chicago offense, defeating the Maroons 29-0. The homestanding Chicago offense was limited to 84 yards of total offense, just 5 yards on the ground. "We have talked all year about how the more physical team usually wins and we did a tremendous job of stopping the run and running the ball today," said Scots coach Chad Braun. Chicago picked up two first downs on its opening drive before Anthony Cikauskas broke the school career sack record with his 35th sack. The Maroons lined up to punt but Ethan James blocked the kick, recovered the ball and returned it 38 yards for a touchdown, his third defensive score of the season. Chicago only got into Monmouth territory twice, on its first and last drives of the afternoon.
Coast Guard improved to 7-1, 5-0 in the NEWMAC, as the Bears won at Salve Regina, 36-31. Coast Guard finishes the regular season with a trip to Springfield and a game against archrival Merchant Marine in Fenway Park. Harrison Hensley ran for 168 yards and a touchdown for CGA, while Broock Desta caught eight passes for 113 yards and a score in the win.
It was no punts, no turnovers, just all scores for Carnegie Mellon, as the Tartans found the scoreboard on every single possession in rolling past Dickinson 70-26. The drive chart for CMU is pretty simple: touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, touchdown, as Joey McGinnis IV threw for 256 yards and two TDs and ran for 121 yards and a score.
This recap will be updated.
