Offense

QB Scott Biglin, Whitworth
Biglin completed 28 of 44 passes for 402 yards and the game-winning 32-yard touchdown with 1:35 to play to lead Whitworth to a come-from-behind win against Bethel. It is the seventh time in his career as the starting quarterback he has led Whitworth on a game-winning drive in the final two minutes.

OL Andrew MacFadyen, Matt Fritze, Nick Asermelly, Ben Bristol, Carl Mintken, Springfield
The group drove Salve Regina into the ground, leading to 553 yards on the ground and a 69-0 win.

RB Daniel Grove, Wittenberg
Grove carried 25 times for 233 yards, including a 94-yard touchdown run, the second-longest in school history. He finished with four touchdowns in the Tigers' 44-7 win against Albion.

RB Kevin Bostelman, Adrian
Bostelman led Adrian to a 34-31 win against Heidelberg with 29 carries for 205 yards and three touchdowns, as well as 42 yards receiving.

WR Cedric Simmons, Concordia (Wis.)
Simmons scored on Concordia's opening offensive play with a 78-yard speed sweep, then again later in the quarter on a 38-yard run. In the third quarter Cedric scored on a 12-yard touchdown pass and finished with 189 yards on 15 touches.

WR Conrad Singh, Hampden-Sydney
Singh caught a career-best 11 passes for 132 yards and one touchdown on the day for the Tigers. Singh recorded nine of his 11 catches in the first half, to go along with 118 yards and the touchdown as the Tigers went on to rout Sewanee 51-17.

WR Schuyler Anderson, Louisiana College
Anderson had 12 catches for 181 yards and three touchdowns as the Wildcats beat Belhaven 49-21.

Defense

DL Jed Mooney, Millsaps
Mooney, a senior defensive end, collected 10 tackles (five solo) including 4½ sacks as he led a stingy Majors defense in a 16-14 win against crosstown rival Mississippi College.

DL Brandon Doppelheuer, Waynesburg
Doppelheuer helped lead a front line that allowed just 17 rushing yards in a 28-7 win against Denison, recording seven total tackles, four for loss and one sack.

DL Pat Ryan, Benedictine
Ryan totaled 13 tackles, five for a loss of 15 yards and also recorded two sacks for Benedictine in a season-opening loss to Elmhurst.

DL Jordan Strunk, Rose-Hulman
Strunk led a Rose-Hulman defense that recorded its first shutout in 11 years and its first opening day shutout since 1982 in a 23-0 win against Earlham. Rose-Hulman held the Quakers to minus-27 yards rushing. Strunk's top play was a sequence of sacking quarterback Jeremiah King, knocking the ball lose for a fumble, then winning the battle to the football for a fumble recovery. He finished with eight tackles, five solo, five for loss and 2½ sacks.

LB Brandon Brown, Howard Payne
Brown led the Jackets with 14 total tackles, nine solo, in a 17-7 win against Southern Nazarene.

LB Chris Demobosz, Elmhurst
Dembosz led the Elmhurst defense with 11 tackles (four solo) in a 22-19 win against Benedictine. He helped limit the Eagles to 61 yards of offense in the second half and just eight yards on 19 plays in the fourth quarter.

LB Derlyn Gross, Menlo
The senior had nine tackles (four solo) in the 24-13 win against McMurry, and his interception in the fourth quarter set up an Oak field goal.

DB Gerald Dias, St. John Fisher
Dias recorded a game-high 15 tackles, including eight solo hits, in a 34-26 St. John Fisher win against Alfred. He also set a school record when he returned a punt 97 yards for a touchdown.

DB Greg Baldus, Gustavus Adolphus
Baldus intercepted two passes to help Gustavus defeat Alma 35-6. Baldus came up with two key plays as the Gustvaus defense shut down the highly touted Alma offense. In the first half, Baldus wrestled the ball away from an Alma wide receiver in mid-air stopping a drive at the Gustavus 12-yard line. In the second half, Baldus intercepted a pass and returned it 43 yards for a touchdown giving the Gusties a 28-3 lead. He had seven tackles (two solo).

DB Yasin York, Rowan
York, in his first start for the Profs, with six tackles (five solo) and four pass breakups in a 17-3 win against Division II Millersville.

DB Matt Henrich, Lycoming
Henrich tied a school record by grabbing three interceptions in Lycoming's 54-0 victory against Delaware Valley. Lycoming forced Delaware Valley into eight turnovers. Henrich also added two solo tackles and had four passes broken up.

Special teams

K Chris Reed, Muhlenberg
With four field goals and six extra points against Kings Point, Reed broke the Centennial Conference record for points in a game by a kicker (18). He hit from 36 yards twice, 41 and 49 yards. Reed also helped set up a touchdown when his kickoff into the end zone was fumbled and recovered by the Mules.

RET Jesse Raynor, Alfred
Raynor racked up 378 all-purpose yards with 115 yards rushing, 86 yards receiving, 165 yards on four kickoff returns, and 12 yards on one punt return. He scored three touchdowns and kicked a field goal in the Saxons’ 34-26 loss to St. John Fisher.
